Using XY Plot objects
You can use XY Plot to query data and plot it on a graphical
display.
Use the XY Plot objects to:
- See the relationship between the values of two tags (tag pair) over a historical period, a pre-set period, and in real-time. When plotted, this relationship is referred to as a trace.
- Easily identify the boundaries that define "normal" conditions for a trace, by adding user-defined shapes.
- Determine whether the value of a tag is outside of a defined boundary.
- Display and compare multiple tags or traces concurrently.
- Manipulate the data in a variety of ways, including panning, zooming, and scaling after you have added tags.
