General runtime settings (XY Plot)
Use the tab to set up which settings are available to operators at runtime. To prevent operators from changing these options, the tab is not available at runtime.
The following table shows settings on the tab.

XY Plot Setup | Click the button to open the Properties dialog box and configure the detailed XY Plot appearances and behaviors at runtime.The Properties dialog box is also available at runtime if the Context menu option is enabled. |
Chart | Specify which XY Plot panes are displayed and whether the context menus are available to operators at runtime. The panes include Tag explorer , Toolbar , Timebar , Context menu , and Tag list . You can also specify the icon size on the toolbar, or whether to collapse the tag explorer or tag list when the XY Plot first runs. |
Properties dialog | Specify which XY Plot property tabs are available to operators at runtime. By default, the runtime properties dialog box includes the General and Traces tabs. The General tab includes Time Period , Application , Chart , Retrieval , and Shape .Tip : To show Shape on the General tab at runtime, you need to select the Shape check box at design time and create a shape on the XY Plot at runtime. |
