Ranges

Configure trusted IP ranges to incorporate groups of devices not capable of
CIP Security
or
OPC UA security policy
into the policy model.
TIP: A trusted IP range is a contiguous set of IP addresses that are known to contain good devices, but that cannot use certificates or pre-shared keys to authenticate identities or authorize access. If a device has an IP address within a defined trusted IP range, the authentication method for the device is set to
None
.
