General
tab of the Ethernet Properties
dialog box contains this information:Setting | Description |

Name | Used to view or adjust the name of the Ethernet driver. The default name is the 1784-PKTX or a DH+ driver. If you change the name, you must enter a name that is unique across the entire topology, and is limited to 255 characters. The new name shows in the communications tree. |
