Duplicate a permission set

To create a permission set that is similar to an existing permission set, duplicate the permission set, and then edit it.
To duplicate a permission set
  1. Expand
    Permission Sets
     to view the permission set, right-click the permission set and select
    Duplicate
    .
  2. In
    New Permission Set
    , enter a name for the permission set.
  3. (optional) In
    Description
    , type a description of the permission set, such as a list of the controllers or project components.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
    Select
    Security Settings
     to edit the permissions of the new permission set.
    When the
    Logix Designer
     application opens, the new permission set appears in the
    Permission Sets
     menu and can be applied to projects and project components.
