Configure a permission set

Permission sets identify a set of actions that are allowed or denied for one or more user groups or computer groups. Create a permission set to apply the same set of permissions to multiple controllers or project components in a
Logix Designer
 application.
After creating a permission set, secure it by setting permissions for user-computer pairs.
To configure a permission set
  1. Expand the
    System
    folder and
    Permission Sets
     folder.
  2. Right-click the permission set to secure and select
    Security
    .
  3. In
    Security Settings
    , configure permissions for a user-computer pair. A pair can include groups as well as individual users and computers.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
Open the
Logix Designer
 application. The new permission set appears in the
Permission Sets
 menu and can be applied to projects and project components.
