- Loading a new project.
- Disconnecting a controller from the HMI device.
- Replacing a controller.
- Having a controller recover from a fault.
- Downloading a new program from a controller connected to the HMI device.
- Clearing the diagnostics log on a controller connected to the HMI device.TIP:In the rare case of the diagnostics history database being corrupted, the operator does not see any records in the Automatic Diagnostics History viewer. Diagnostic state changes still occur. If you do not see any records, remote the HMI device.
PanelView
terminals display up to 1,000 historical diagnostics state changes. This limit does not change with the number of controllers connected to the PanelView
terminal. After exceeding the limit, new records replace the oldest diagnostics records.See also
