Upload values from a network device to a recipe file

By using a recipe, the operator can read values from the controller and save them in the file named in the recipe box.
To upload values from a network device to a recipe file:
  1. At runtime, press
    PgUp
to read the values from the network device to the input objects on the graphic display.
  2. On the display, click the recipe object to set input focus to the recipe object. You can also press
    Ctrl
    +
    W
    anywhere on the display.
    TIP:
When you have a recipe object on a display with the on-screen keyboard turned on, if you set the focus on the recipe object and then click it, the keyboard will appear rather than a list of recipes.
  3. To write the values from the input fields to a recipe file, do any of the following:
    • Type the name of the recipe and then press
      Enter
      or
      +
      .
    • Double-click the recipe object to open the
      Recipe
dialog box, select a recipe from the list, and then click
      Save
      .
      TIP:
      When you use
      Ctrl
      +
      W
to set input focus, you do not have to use the
      Save
      button in the
      Recipe
      dialog box.
      Ctrl
      +
      W
sets input focus and prepares to save values from a file.
