About using a recipe at runtime

Using a recipe at runtime is similar to using individual string and numeric input objects. Both let the operator monitor and change values in the network devices. They also let you use different values for a single set of tags.
By using a recipe, the operator downloads a number of values rather than individual values, from a disk file to the string and numeric input objects and then sends these values to the network devices. This can also work in reverse: operators can read values from the controller and save them in the file named in the recipe box.
