Create a numeric input cursor point
Use the numeric input cursor point object to write numeric information to a data source. For example, you might use a numeric input cursor point to set the current temperature of an oven in a bakery.
To create a numeric input cursor point
- In theGraphics Displayeditor, selectObjects > Numeric and String > Numeric Input Cursor Pointor drag
from the toolbox.
- Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the numeric input cursor point to be.
- Double-click the display to open itsPropertiesdialog box.
- In thePropertiesdialog box tabs, specify how the display numeric input cursor point looks, how it inputs and displays values, its timing and handshake settings, and its tags and/or expressions.
