Create a numeric input cursor point

Use the numeric input cursor point object to write numeric information to a data source. For example, you might use a numeric input cursor point to set the current temperature of an oven in a bakery.
To create a numeric input cursor point
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
    editor, select
    Objects > Numeric and String > Numeric Input Cursor Point
    or drag Numeric Input Cursor Point from the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the numeric input cursor point to be.
  3. Double-click the display to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  4. In the
    Properties
    dialog box tabs, specify how the display numeric input cursor point looks, how it inputs and displays values, its timing and handshake settings, and its tags and/or expressions.
