Create a display list selector

Use the display list selector to show a list of graphic displays that the operator can choose from. The operator can scroll through the list and select a graphic display.
The operator can scroll through the list and select displays using key buttons or by using the arrow keys and
Enter
 key on a keypad or an external keyboard.
TIP:
  • The operator cannot use the display list selector to open Replace displays if display change is currently controlled remotely. But the operator can still open displays of the type On Top (with or without the
    Cannot Be Replaced
     option).
  • Users cannot navigate through the Display List Selector by holding the Up or Down key on a terminal running FactoryTalk View ME Station version 6.10.00.
    To avoid this problem, in FactoryTalk View ME Station, go to
    Terminal Settings
     >
    Input Device
     >
    Keyboard/Keypad
     and change the value for
    Repeat Rate
     to 2 or greater.
To create a display list selector
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
    editor, select
    Objects > Display Navigation > Display List Selector
    or drag Display List Selector from the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the selector to be.
  3. Double-click the selector to open its
    Properties
     dialog box.
  4. In the
    Properties
     dialog box, specify how the selector looks and its states.
