Scale graphic displays

If you make changes to the window size, the
Title
check box, or the border check box on the project settings tabs, the
Graphic Display Scaling
dialog box opens.
IMPORTANT:
If you choose to scale displays, changing the project settings back to their original settings may not return the project to its original condition. If you may need to restore the application, make a backup copy before scaling.
To scale graphic displays
  1. Select the
    Scale graphic displays
    check box.
  2. Select the check boxes to scale font sizes, border sizes, images, and the offsets used in animations.
  3. Click
    OK
to close the window and return to the
    Project Settings
    editor.
    TIP:
    • If you choose to scale graphic displays, all Replace and On Top displays are resized, and the objects on them are scaled to fit the new size.
    • If you choose not to scale displays after changing the window size, Replace displays will be resized, but objects on the displays will remain the same size and in the same position as before. On Top displays are not resized.
    • If the application includes objects with images whose
      Image
scaled property is turned on in the
      Image Settings
      pane of the object's
      Label
tab, it is not necessary to scale images. Scaling images at runtime may have a negative effect on the application's performance, depending on factors such as the image resolution and size. Therefore, if the application includes only a few objects with images, performance may be optimized by resizing the images manually.
