Generic FTP Custom Comparisons

As of version 8.0 of FactoryTalk AssetCentre, Compare Engines can be configured for use with Generic FTP Disaster Recovery tasks. When a Compare Engine is configured for use with Generic FTP Disaster Recovery tasks, it can be selected in the file configuration of the task (as opposed to the default Checksum option). A Compare Engine can be used for Generic FTP Disaster Recovery tasks or Archive to Archive comparisons, but not both simultaneously. It is recommended that the report output folder be utilized only be the compare engine so an independent process does not interfere with the report collection.
