Position the Asset View

You can attach the Asset View to any side of the FactoryTalk AssetCentre window. This is called
docking
. The Asset View is docked to the left side of the window by default. You can also detach the Asset View window so it
floats
separately.
To position the Asset View
  1. Click the Asset View title bar and drag it to the desired position.
  2. When you drag the Asset View over the FactoryTalk AssetCentre window, placement icons appear.
    • If you drop the Asset View on one of the placement icons, it will dock the Asset View window on the top, bottom, left, or right side of the FactoryTalk AssetCentre window.
    • If you drop the Asset View window off of a placement icon, the Asset View window will float instead of being attached to the FactoryTalk AssetCentre window.
Floating and Docked commands are also available from the
Windows
 menu on the main Menu Bar.
