Advanced Settings
You can set up the maximum value that can be entered in the
Advanced Settings
of Asset Inventory's
Scanning Configuration
. That is, when configuring any of the following settings for Asset Inventory, the entered value cannot be greater than the value specified in this section.
TIP:
The maximum value for each setting below is 2,147,483,647.
Settings
Description
CIP Device response timeout [msec]
Set the number of milliseconds after the Asset Inventory agent service stops querying a device. The minimum value is 10,000. 0 means no timeout.
CIP Node identification timeout [sec]
Set the number of seconds after the Asset Inventory agent service stops discovering devices on a network node and skips to the next one. The minimum value is 10. 0 means no timeout.
Maximum scanning time [min]
Set the maximum number of minutes after the Asset Inventory agent service stops scanning and shows the results it has gathered. If the maximum scanning time is reached, the scan will stop even if all devices have not been found. The minimum value is 1. 0 means no timeout.
SNMP Device Response timeout [msec]
Set the number of milliseconds after the Asset Inventory agent service stops querying a device. The minimum value is 1,000. 0 means no timeout.
WMI Host response timeout [msec]
Set the number of milliseconds after the Asset Inventory agent service stops querying a host. The minimum value is 1,000. 0 means no timeout.
