Set scheduled search options

You can set certain default behaviors for scheduled searches, such as email recipient lists, retries, and the time zone of the computer running scheduled searches.
Default scheduled search operations are applied when you create a scheduled search. Therefore, changing the default scheduled search operation settings does not affect existing searches.
Prerequisites
  • To modify a search, you must be granted the
    View a Search
     and
    Write
    permissions.
  • To modify a scheduled search, you must also be granted the
    Edit a schedule
     permission.
To set defaults for scheduled searches
  1. Select
    Tools > Options
    .
  2. Under
    Category
    on the left side of the dialog box, select
    Scheduled Operations
    .
  3. Complete the
    Options dialog box: Scheduled Operation
    .
  4. Click
    OK
    .
