About modifying and saving searches

You can modify a search definition to change how the search results will be shown, the search conditions used to find and show records, and the time zone of the computer that is running the search. For example, you might want to change the time zone of the computer running a specific scheduled search if your FactoryTalk AssetCentre client computer is in another time zone from the agent computer running the search.

You cannot select another data source for a search. To do that, you must delete the search and create a new search with the desired data source.
