Compare Configuration dialog box or File Configuration dialog box

How do I open the Compare Configuration dialog box or File Configuration dialog box?
You can open the
Compare Configuration
dialog box or
File Configuration
 dialog box for three different purposes.
To set defaults for future schedules:
  1. Select
    Tools > Options
    .
  2. Under
    Category
    on the left side of the dialog box, select
    Scheduled Operations
    .
  3. In the
    Scheduled Operations
     tree, expand
    Disaster Recovery
     and
    Backup and Compare
    .
  4. Select
    Custom Device
    ,
    Generic FTP Device
    , or
    Remote Computer
    .
  5. Click in the
    Compare Configuration
    field or the
    File Configuration
    field and click browse_button_small.
For a new schedule:
  1. Add a new Backup and Compare schedule for a Custom Device, Generic FTP Device, or Remote Computer.
  2. On the third page of the New Schedule Wizard, click in the
    Compare Configuration
    field or the
    File Configuration
    field and click browse_button_small.
For an existing schedule:
  1. Click the
    Schedules
     button to open the
    Schedules
    tab.
  2. Select the Backup and Compare schedule you want to edit.
  3. In the bottom left, select the Custom Device, Generic FTP Device, or Remote Computer for which you want to change the file settings.
  4. In the bottom right, click in the
    Compare Configuration
    field or the
    File Configuration
    field and click browse_button_small.
Use the
Compare Configuration
 dialog box or
File Configuration
 dialog box to specify:
  • The files in the Custom Device, Generic FTP Device, or Remote Computer's binder to compare in a Backup and Compare schedule.
  • The compare application used to compare files in Custom Device, Generic FTP Device, or Remote Computer's binder.
