Event log messages when the connection to an Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch fails

When running a schedule on an Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch, the connection to the device may fail due to various reasons. To help you understand why the connection failed, the following table lists the messages recorded in the event log, their meanings, and the commands that FactoryTalk AssetCentre sends to an Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch.

Connecting to Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch using SSH IP Address, Port, User name and Password, RockwellAutomation.FTAssetCentre.Agents.DRStratixAgent.UI.StratixAddressingInfo: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
The IP address of the SSH connection type cannot be connected to.
Connecting to Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch using SSH IP Address, Port, User name and Password, RockwellAutomation.FTAssetCentre.Agents.DRStratixAgent.UI.StratixAddressingInfo: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
The IP address of the SSH connection type can be connected to but the designated device is not an Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch or the traffic on the specified port number is not permitted.
Connecting to Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch using SSH IP Address, Port, User name and Password, RockwellAutomation.FTAssetCentre.Agents.DRStratixAgent.UI.StratixAddressingInfo: Socket read operation has timed out after 30000 milliseconds.
The specified port number is not for the SSH connection type but for the Telnet connection type or the port number is not for either of them.
Connecting to Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch using SSH IP Address, Port, User name and Password, RockwellAutomation.FTAssetCentre.Agents.DRStratixAgent.UI.StratixAddressingInfo: Permission denied (password).
With the SSH connection type, the user account is deleted, the user name is not correct, or the user password is not correct.
