Items in Add an Agent Group dialog box

Items in the dialog box include:
  • Type
    The type for the agent group, local or remote.
  • Name
    The name for the agent group. This name must be unique.
  • Description
    (optional) The description for the agent group.
    TIP:
    The maximum number of agent groups that you can create depends on your licensed agent group capacity. By default, you can create three agent groups in addition to the existing System Default agent group, for a total of four. You can create local agent groups, remote agent groups, or a combination. For example, three local agent groups plus the System Default agent group or two remote agent groups, one local agent group, plus the System Default agent group.
    If you add an agent group beyond your licensed capacity, an error message opens and the agent group cannot be created.
