What's in the Asset Inventory window?
The

Asset Inventory toolbar
Search the Asset Inventory scanning result.
Customize the columns to show in theAsset Inventorywindow.
(Only available when additional information or commission date is changed in editable mode.)Undo changes made to additional information or commission date.
(Only available when additional information or commission date is changed in editable mode.)Check in changes made to additional information or commission date.
Export the Asset Inventory scanning result.
Export the product information to a CSV file to register your products on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website.
(Only available after you click theSYNCbutton.)Add new assets to the asset tree.
(Only available after you click theSYNCbutton.)Update assets in the asset tree with different asset properties.
Asset Inventory scanning information
- Start TimeShow the date and time the Asset Inventory scanning operation starts.
- End TimeShow the date and time the Asset Inventory scanning operation ends.
- ResultShow the result of the Asset Inventory scanning operation.
Devices and Software tabs
- DevicestabShow all devices scanned by CIP and SNMP in hierarchy tabular style.
- AddoptionSelect this option if you want to add new assets to the asset tree.
- UpdateoptionSelect this option if you want to update assets in the asset tree with different asset properties.
- SYNCbuttonWhen theAddorUpdateoption is selected, click this button to show the available devices that can be added or updated.
- Expand AllbuttonExpand all asset items
- Collapse AllbuttonCollapse all asset items
- SoftwaretabShow all software scanned by WMI in hierarchy tabular style.
