Check in files and binders
When finishing editing a checked-out file or binder, you can check it in to the archive database. Checking in a file or binder makes a new version in which changes are backed up and protected in the archive database. If you are working on a file or binder over a long period of time, we recommend that you check in the file or binder daily.
IMPORTANT:
Since the check-out process differs between the FactoryTalk AssetCentre desktop client and web client, if you check out a file or binder using FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client, you must use FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client to check it in.
