Setting the Communications Port

Configuring the communications port enables downloading the SYSTEM.INI file to the TMR Processor. The workstation must be connected to the
Trusted®
System either via a serial port to the front panel socket of the TMR processor using Maintenance Cable TC-304-01 or via Ethernet to a Communications Module.
To set the communication port
  1. From the
    System Configuration Tool
    , in the
    Communications
    menu, click
    Configure Port
    .
  2. In the
    Com Port Options
     dialog box, select the
    Serial
     or
    Ethernet
     tab.
  3. Set the required communication parameters, and then click
    OK
    .
