IntelliCENTER datasets
The IntelliCENTER dataset is customized to each individual order and enables the
IntelliCENTER software to create a digital representation of the customer motor control
center. The dataset is purchased at the same time as the motor control center hardware
and contains information such as the number of sections within the lineup, the unit
sizes and the intelligent devices located within each unit. In addition, the dataset
contains information specific to the devices installed during manufacturing and
commission of the motor control center, such as device serial numbers, IP addresses,
network numbers, and input and output mapping assignments. Also included in the dataset
is a customized set of documentation, including all the user manuals for the devices,
electrical diagrams. and a suggested spare parts list. The IntelliCENTER import brings
the dataset into the IntelliCENTER software and enables the automatic creation of the
customized Elevation view that reflects the customer lineup.
IntelliCENTER supports two types of IntelliCENTER datasets:
- Pre-shipment. At order entry, an option is available to request electronic delivery of the dataset that represents your Motor Control Center order. The pre-shipment dataset does not include documentation and does not include all the device specific information, such as device serial numbers, firmware versions, and other hardware specific details. The pre-shipment dataset provides the ability to begin early integration with a controller and early pre-commissioning design work.
- Post-shipment. After the Motor Control Center hardware order is manufactured, a post-shipment dataset is provided either through electronic delivery or physical media delivery. The post-shipment dataset represents the as-built custom order. The dataset includes custom documentation, including electrical diagrams, user manuals, and spare parts lists. The dataset also includes specific as-built device information, including such details as serial numbers, IP addresses, and firmware versions.
