Import new sections

Import sections to add sections to existing lineups.
  1. Either:
    • In the
      IntelliCENTER
       explorer, right-click the lineup.
    • In
      Elevation
       view, right-click empty space.
  2. Select
    Import Sections
    .
  3. In
    Import Sections
    , under
    Databases
     navigate to the dataset folder on your local drive.
  4. To import new section documentation, under
    Documentation
    , select
    Browse
     to navigate to the folder on your local drive.
  5. Select
    Upload
     twice.
  6. With the files to import selected, select
    Import
    .
    The data files import into FactoryTalk Design Studio and appear at the end of the lineup.
  7. (optional) To rearrange sections, drag sections to their new locations.
