Device status monitoring

When status monitoring is enabled, IntelliCENTER communicates with supported devices to determine if a device is in the Ready, Running, Warning, Fault or Communication Loss state.
Status monitoring requires the following entitlements:
  • FactoryTalk Remote with Pro entitlement
  • FactoryTalk Design Studio Core entitlement
You can monitor the status of:
  • Lineups. Lineup level status indicates the most significant status within the entire lineup. View lineup level status from the IntelliCENTER Dashboard.
  • Units. Unit level status indicates the most significant status within the unit. View unit level status in
    Elevation
     view or from the unit profile.
  • Devices. Individual device status is viewed through the unit tooltip in
    Elevation
     view. You can also expand the IntelliCENTER explorer to navigate to the device level or view the unit profile.
