Run an events file

You can only specify one events file to load when the HMI server starts up. All others must be started and stopped from the command line, a macro, or a button on a graphic display.
To run an events file, do one of the following:
  • In the
    HMI Server Properties
     dialog box, in the
    Components
     tab, specify an events file as the startup component that loads automatically when the HMI server starts.
  • In the command line of
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , type
    EventOn
     and the name of the events file you intend to run.
