Create an events file

Use the
Events
editor to create an events file.
By default, all events in an events file are updated every second (1 second). Use the
Event Setup
 dialog box to change the maximum update rate.
To create an events file:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the Explorer windows, navigate to
    Logic and Control
    , right-click
    Events
    and select
    New
    .
  2. In the
    Events
     editor, define the events for a file.
  3. From the menu, select
    Setup
     >
    Event Setup
    .
  4. In the
    Event Setup
     dialog box, select a maximum update rate and edit the description for the current events file, and click
    OK
    .
  5. From the menu, select
    File
    >
    Save
    . Specify a file name when you are promoted to.
