Animation dialog box -OLE Verb tab
The following table shows the options in the tab.
Options | Description |
---|---|
Expression | Specify a tag name or an expression that will evaluate to True (any value greater than 0) or False (0) at runtime. An expression is a mathematical or logical equation that returns a value. It can contain tag names; constants; mathematical, relational, logical and bitwise operators; and alarm functions. A tag name can be used as an expression. |
OLE Verb | Click the Down Arrow to display the OLE verbs available for the currently selected OLE object. When the expression evaluates to True, this verb is run. |
Security | The default security code for OLE verb animation is the asterisk (*) which means that anyone who runs the graphic can activate the verb. To restrict who can activate the verb, for example to set up security so that only the head operator can edit an embedded spreadsheet, choose another security code for it. |
