Create copies of a numeric or string object

Use the
Duplicate to Grid
option to create multiple copies of a numeric or string object at one time. Any animation attached to the object is also duplicated. The duplicated objects are arranged in rows and columns with an equal distance between each other.
TIP:
Typically use the option to quickly build a grid and display data as needed.
To create multiple copies of a numeric or string object
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the Graphics editor, create a numeric or string object and configure it as needed.
  2. Right-click the object and select
    Duplicate to Grid
    .
  3. In the
    Duplicate to Grid
    dialog box, enter the number of columns and rows, the horizontal and vertical spacing, and then select
    OK
    .
