Create a numeric display object

Use the numeric display object to show the current value of a tag or a value based on an expression. At runtime, the numeric display shows information in the numeric format of the current runtime language. The numeric format of the current runtime language can be configured in the Windows Region and Language settings of Control Panel.
To create a numeric display object:
  1. In the Graphics editor, click
    Objects
    >
    Numeric and String
    >
    Numeric Display
    .
  2. Drag the mouse to draw a box the approximate size the numeric display object is to be.
  3. In the
    Numeric Display Properties
    dialog box, in the
    General
    tab, specify the following fields:
    • Expression
    • Numeric formats like
      Show Digit Grouping
      ,
      Field Length
      and
      Format
      .
    • Leading Character
    • Justification
  4. In the
    Common
    tab, set up how the object will appear at runtime.
