About animating linked or embedded objects

You can attach animation to linked or embedded objects just as you do to other objects in a graphic display. For example, you can attach visibility animation to a spreadsheet and then use a button to show or hide the spreadsheet when clicked. For example, this could be used to display a shift summary report generated by an OLE application, that only needs to be available for the operator at the start of a shift.
The kinds of animation available or appropriate to an object depend on what kind of object it is and how it is being used.
You can also attach OLE verb animation to a linked or embedded object. This lets you activate an OLE object by initiating one of the verbs associated with it. For example, you can embed a video object in a graphic display, then set up OLE verb animation so that when the expression associated with verb animation evaluates to True, the video will be played.
