Configure an NT 4.0 RAS for use with RSLinx Classic Gateway
Remote Access Service (RAS) allows off-site users to work as if they were connected directly to the network. You can establish a remote client connection with a direct network connection or a remote location using a modem. Your server machine must be configured as a RAS server and the client machine must establish a remote connection before client applications connecting through RSLinx Classic can communicate.
For detailed RAS information, refer to your Windows NT documentation.
Complete these steps to configure an NT 4.0 RAS connection for use with an RSLinx Classic Gateway connection. You must complete each step in order for the RAS connection to configure properly.
