Create a snapshot file from within FactoryTalk Diagnostics Counter Monitor

You can create a snapshot file from within
FactoryTalk Diagnostics Counter Monitor
. This provides the diagnostic counter values for all workstations, whether expanded and opened or not.
To create a snapshot file from within
FactoryTalk Diagnostics Counter Monitor
:
  1. Select
    File > Save Snapshot
    .
  2. Select the location, to which you want to save the snapshot file. The default location is the
    C:
     drive.
  3. Create a file name, or use the default file name,
    FTDiagData.xml
    .
  4. Click
    Save
    .
    TIP:
    You may want to take a snapshot of your working system. If you encounter problems in the future, this provides a baseline to check against.
