Users are unexpectedly being prompted to log on

local or network directory, the

Windows

Authenticated Users group might have been deleted from the security settings for the directory. This causes users to be prompted for a user name and password before being allowed to access the directory. To resolve this issue add the

Authenticated Users

group manually.

Use single sign-on

might be disabled.
