Add a device to an address block (DeviceNet I/O)
To create a DeviceNet I/O configuration you must add a DeviceNet Scanner. Next, you will configure the Scanner Properties by adding an address block, followed by a device to that address block and an alias to that device.

- In theDeviceNet Scanner Propertiesdialog box, click theI/O Configurationtab.
- Right-clickon theAddress Blockand clickAdd Device.TheDevice Propertiesdialog box opens. The name of the dialog box reflects the default Start Byte, Length, and Node.
