Add a device to an address block (DeviceNet I/O)

To create a DeviceNet I/O configuration you must add a DeviceNet Scanner. Next, you will configure the Scanner Properties by adding an address block, followed by a device to that address block and an alias to that device.
Use the
DeviceNet Scanner Properties
dialog box to add a device to an address block.
To add a device to an address block (DeviceNet I/O)
  1. In the
    DeviceNet Scanner Properties
    dialog box, click the
    I/O Configuration
    tab.
  2. Right-click
    on the
    Address Block
    and click
    Add Device.
    The
    Device Properties
    dialog box opens. The name of the dialog box reflects the default Start Byte, Length, and Node.
  3. Enter the
    Start Byte
    ,
    Length
    , and
    Node
    , using the data from the
    RSNetWorx
    Scanlist Configuration Tool
    to specify a device.
