Alarm and Event Summary Properties - Status Bar tab
Use
FactoryTalk View Studio
at design time to open the Alarm and Event Summary Properties
dialog box:- Add an Alarm and Event Summary object to a display.
- Right-click on the Alarm and Event Summary object, and then clickProperties.
Use the
Status Bar
tab in the Alarm and Event Summary Properties
dialog box to select the items that are displayed in the status bar and to change their order.To change the appearance of the Status Bar, click the
Appearance
tab.The following table describes the settings available on the
Status Bar
tab and how they can be used:Setting | Description |

Show Panel | Each item in the list represents a panel displayed on the left side of the status bar. To include an item on the status bar, select the corresponding check box. If the number of event entries in the Alarm and Event Summary queue exceeds 2000, the text Event Limit Exceeded is displayed in the Alarm Queue panel of the status bar. When the number of event entries in the Alarm and Event Summary queue has dropped below 2000, the text Refresh event list is displayed in the status bar.If the alarm fault count exceeds 500, the text Alarm Fault Limit Exceeded is displayed in the Alarm Fault panel of the status bar. |
Icon | The icons shown in this column are for display only. They cannot be changed. |
Tooltip | Leave the default tooltip, or type a different tooltip for each item on the status bar. At runtime, the Server Status tooltip is composed of Connected or Disconnected tooltip text, or both, followed by a colon and the area and server name. For example: Connected:Line1Area:Packaging Server. The tooltips must be configured during design time. |
Move Up or Move Down | Use these buttons to change the order of the items on the status bar. The order of the items from top to bottom in the dialog box corresponds to the order of the panels from left to right on the status bar. Display properties must be configured during design time. |
