Alarm and Event Summary Properties - Columns tab
Use the
Columns
tab in the Alarm and Event Summary Properties
dialog box to change which columns are displayed, and to configure their appearance, in the Alarm and Event Summary.The following table describes the settings available on the tab.
Setting | Description |

Add and remove columns in the event list | The columns across the top of the event list represent some of the data fields in the Alarm and Event Summary. All of the data fields are shown in the Details pane, but you can select the ones you want to display in the event list. |
Reposition columns | To change the order in which columns are displayed in the event list, click a column name in the list, and then click the Move Up or Move Down buttons to move the column name up or down in the list. |
Change column heading text | To change the heading of a column, select the column name in the Heading text list and then type a name in the text box.The text you type in the Heading text box does not replace the original name of the column in the column list, or on the Display Filter or Sort tabs. |
Change column widths | Select the column name in the list, then type a number in the Width box to change the width of columns in the event list. For example, increase the width of the column if you expect the text in the column to be long or vice versa. |
Change column alignment | Select the column name in the list, then click the Align box to select the alignment in which you want the information to appear in the column. |
Change the format of information displayed in the columns | In the Format list, select the format for the information in the column. |
Show seconds for all timestamps | Click and select the timestamp type to be displayed in the Alarm and Event Summary from the drop-down list box: Show seconds for all timestamps , Show milliseconds for all timestamps , and Show microseconds for all timestamps .Show millisecond or microsecond if you expect alarms to change state very quickly. Timestamps properties must be configured during design time. |
