also includes the Alarm Status Explorer object which displays alarms in a dialog that you can navigate through to browse alarm conditions.The Alarm Status Explorer graphic object is used to view and modify the status alarms in an application. The list of alarms can be filtered by alarm name and state; one or more alarms can be enabled, disabled, suppressed, unsuppressed, shelved, or unshelved.
To create an Alarm Status Explorer display, add the object to a graphic display in FactoryTalk View Studio.

.The Alarm Status Explorer has the following differences from the Alarm and Event banner:
- It provides information about all alarms in the system, whether or not their alarm condition is In Alarm.
- During runtime operators can use the Alarm Status Explorer to suppress or unsuppress alarms, and to enable or disable alarms. However, the Alarm Status Explorer cannot be used to acknowledge alarms.
