View a deleted user account

If the security policy
Show deleted accounts in user list
 is
enabled
, it is possible to view the properties of a deleted account. These properties cannot be modified.
Prerequisites
Obtain these permissions in the
Users
 folder in
FactoryTalk Administration Console
Explorer
:
  • Common > List Children
  • Common > Read
To view the properties of a deleted account
  1. Log into the
    FactoryTalk Directory
     that contains the user account to delete.
  2. In
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    Explorer
    , expand
    System
     >
    Users
    , right-click the user account, and select
    Properties
    .
    The user account properties are shown as they were when the account was deleted. Modifying the properties is not possible. The deleted account cannot be enabled.
  3. Click
    Cancel
     to close the properties sheet.
    TIP:
    An account can be deleted in one directory but remain active in the other.
