View or edit an area description

To help identify the purpose of an area or to record other information about the area, such as contact names or a version history, enter a description of the area.
Use
Area Properties
 to view and change the description. The name of the area is read-only.
To edit an area description
  1. In
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    Explorer
    , expand the application, right-click the area, and then select
    Properties
    .
  2. In
    Description,
     type a description, and then select
    OK
    .
