Delete an application

Delete an application when it is not needed in the
FactoryTalk Directory
. If the application is hosted in multiple directories, log in to each directory and delete it.
Configuration files associated with
FactoryTalk View SE
 Servers,
RSLinx Classic
 or
FactoryTalk Linx
 data servers, or other project-specific files are not deleted when an application is deleted.
Prerequisites
Deleting an application requires these permissions for the application or area:
  • Common > Delete
  • Common > List Children
  • Common > Read
To delete an application
  • In
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    Explorer
    , right-click the application, and then select
    Delete
    .
