Data groups

Use data groups to view or change settings of multiple data items at once. Example: Activate or inactivate groups to start or stop monitoring all data items in the group. HMI Emulation Mode switches between groups of data items to simulate an HMI system that is switching among graphic displays.

Only group data items together from a single type of data server. Example: Group data items from various

RSLinx Classic

topics, or from various

FactoryTalk View SE

servers. Grouping data items together from both an

OPC

server and a

FactoryTalk

server is not allowed.
