Device Wall-clock Update action properties

The following table describes the settings of the Device Wall-clock Update action.

Description
Add
Adds devices by browsing in
FactoryTalk Linx
 Network Browser or manually entering device paths. You can add a maximum of 1000 devices to one action.
Delete
Deletes the selected devices.
Tip:
  • Use the checkbox in the left-most column of each row to select or unselect one or more devices.
  • Use the checkbox in the top row of the table to select or unselect all items in the table.
Online Status
Checks the status of the selected devices in the Device Status dialog box.
Wall-Clock Update
Transfers the workstation wall-clock to the wall-clock of the selected devices.
Import
Imports devices from a CSV file. The imported content will overwrite the existing content.
Export
Exports all devices and their information in this list to a CSV file.
Advanced Settings
Configures the advanced settings of the action in the Advanced Settings dialog box.
Filter
Filters the devices using keywords.
Properties table
Shows the device properties, including:
  • Checkbox
    The checkboxes are used to select devices in this table.
  • Index
    The predefined order of devices. Drag the device to reorder this list.
  • Device Name
    The name read from the controller's project name. This property is read-only.
  • Catalog Number
    The catalog number of the device. This property is read-only.
  • Device Path
    The text network path of the device.
  • Alias Name
    The user entered name of the device. The alias name cannot be duplicated.
  • Description
    The user entered description of the device.
  • Last Update Time
    The last time that the device wall clock was updated by this instance of
    FactoryTalk Action Manager
    . This property is read-only.
