Device Status dialog box

FactoryTalk Action Manager
reads the online information from devices and shows the information in the
Device Status
dialog box. The following table explains the settings in the
Device Status
dialog box and their meanings.
Item
Description
Refresh
Refreshes the device status information.
Update Wall-Clock
Transfers the computer's wall-clock to the wall-clock of all devices in this list.
Device Name
Shows the name read from the controller's project name.
Status
Shows the online status of the device, including:
  • Online
  • Offline
Wall-Clock Difference
Shows the difference between the device-wall clock and the computer's wall-clock.
Tip:
  • The
    ISO 8601
    format is used to represent the time difference. The structure of this format is
    0D T00:00:00.000
    . For example,
    1D T02:03:04.005
    means the time difference is one day, two hours three minutes four seconds and five milliseconds.
  • If
    Time Offset
    in the Advanced Settings dialog box is not the default value 0,
    FactoryTalk Action Manager
    will calculate the difference based on this setting.
Response Time (ms)
Shows the connection time between the server computer and the device.
Device Wall-Clock
Shows the wall-clock on the device. For more information about the
Daylight saving time
setting, see Advanced Settings dialog box.
Catalog Number
Shows the catalog number of the device.
Device Path
Shows the path of the device.
Revision
Shows the firmware revision of the device.
Save and close
Updates the online device information (
Device Name
,
Catalog Number
, and
Revision
) to the device in this action and closes the
Device Status
dialog box.
Cancel
Closes the
Device Status
dialog box.
