Upload Runtime Application wizard

How do I open the Upload Runtime Application wizard?
On the
Menu
 bar, click
Communications > Upload
. This option is also available on the
Studio 5000
 Launcher.
Use the
Upload Runtime Application
wizard to transfer a runtime application from an HMI device to a computer.
The wizard contains two pages:
  • HMI Device Location
    . Use this page to specify the communication path from the HMI device containing the runtime application to the computer to which it will be uploaded.
    This page displays the progress of the upload process. If
    View Designer
     encounters a problem, an error message displays at the point it occurred, and the process stops.
  • Save
    . Use this page to specify where you want to save the uploaded runtime application file. This page is available only when the runtime application file has been successfully uploaded from the HMI device.
