Add traces at design time (TrendPro)

At design time, you can add a trace as a tag or parameter to the trend.
For each trace on a TrendPro object, samples are plotted using a horizontal x-axis representing time and a vertical y-axis representing the value.
TIP:
To show data from FactoryTalk View SE data logs, make sure the data log models are started. Otherwise, the trend will not show any value of your selected tags.
To trend historical data in
a FactoryTalk Historian SE server, Asset Framework server, FactoryTalk Historian ME module, or PI Server
, you need to install
FactoryTalk Historian Connectivity
from the FactoryTalk View installation package on the FactoryTalk View Studio or SE Client computer.
All clients must use either the same computer name or the same IP address. If you add or delete a PI server, restart your FactoryTalk View Studio or FactoryTalk View SE Client to take effect.
