Create a data log model

Use the
Data Log Models
 editor to create a data log model.
TIP:
To use data in multiple formats, define multiple data log models for the same set of tags.
To create a data log model:
  1. In the
    Data Log Models
    editor, in the
    Setup
     tab, type a description and log file identifier string and select a storage format.
  2. In the
    Paths
     tab, specify the paths to the logging primary and secondary destinations.
  3. In the
    File Management
     tab, specify when the creation and deletion of files will take place.
  4. In the
    Log Triggers
     tab, specify how data logging will be triggered.
  5. In the
    Tags in Model
     tab, specify that tags will be logged.
  6. When complete, click
    OK
    .
  7. When prompted, in the
    Save
    dialog box, type a name for the component and click
    OK
    .
