Causes of runtime errors for legacy ME Station applications
If a user attempts to run an earlier version application on an earlier version

, the following message may appear:"Failed to load Tag Config Server"
A possible reason for this message is that the application file (.mer) created with
FactoryTalk View Studio
6.10 or later is not compatible with the old database. For example, you cannot run an application created with FactoryTalk View Studio
6.10 on ME Station 6.0.FactoryTalk View ME Station
6.0 and earlier cannot run an application that is created with FactoryTalk View Studio
6.10 or later installed on a 64-bit OS since the database is incompatible.FactoryTalk View Studio
6.10 or later installed on a 64-bit OS will not create a 6.0 or earlier version application with Allow Conversion
