Options on the Common tab of a graphic object's Properties dialog box

The following table shows the options on the
Common
tab of a graphic object's
Properties
dialog box.
Options
Descriptions
Size
Height
Specify the number of pixels for the object's height (including borders).
Width
Specify the number of pixels for the object's width (including borders).
Position
Top
Specify the number of pixels for the distance between the top of the display and the top edge of the object.
The number must be positive.
To specify a negative number, which will position part, or all of the object off screen, use the
Property Panel
.
Left
Specify the number of pixels for the distance between the left edge of the display and the left edge of the object.
The number must be positive.
To specify a negative number, which will position part or all of the object off screen, use the
Property Panel
.
If the objects shape is Circle, or Ellipse, the size and position properties refer to the object's bounding box.
Other
Name
Type the name of the object. The name must start with a letter and cannot contain spaces. You can use numbers and the underscore character (_).
Visible
If this check box is clear, the object is invisible at runtime.
If you use Visibility animation, its setting will override this setting.
If an object is invisible at runtime, it is not functional. Clicks or touches on an invisible object pass through the object to whatever is behind it.
For Trend objects and third-party ActiveX objects, assign the following properties:
Key Navigation
Select this check box to allow the user to navigate to the object using the keyboard and give the object input focus.
Focus Highlight
Select this check box if you want the object to have a highlight box shown around it when it has input focus at runtime.
